What to expect at our Indian restaurant in De Pijp
Our chefs come from different corners of India — Kashmir, Kerala, Mumbai, Bihar — and cook what they grew up eating. Everything is built to share, so order across the table: choose three to four sharing plates and enjoy different flavours, textures and cooking styles together.
Dishes to start with
- Butter Chicken (Murg Makhani): tandoori chicken in a buttery tomato-fenugreek sauce.
- Smoked Black Lentils (Dal Makhani): cooked low and slow for 12 hours, smoky and rich.
- Grilled Oyster Mushrooms in Saffron Cream (Tandoori Mushrooms in Kashmiri Kesar Salan): charred in the tandoor, a good meat-free plate.
- Prawn Canapés (Kerala Style Prawns Sukkha): prawns tempered with curry leaves and red chili on crispy cassava chips.
- Garlic Naan from the tandoor, and Mary’s Nest (housemade kulfi in mango, pomegranate and saffron-pistachio) to finish.
