General Information

Do you have a bar?

Yes, absolutely! Our stunning handcrafted bar with beautiful stonework and elegant banana fibre lighting is a true highlight. Paired with our delicious artisanal cocktails and mocktails — infused with Indian spices and made with fresh in-house syrups - it's the perfect spot to start your evening.

What language is spoken?

We primarily speak English in our wonderfully multicultural team. Our shared language is warm hospitality, and wemake it our mission to help every guest feel right at home.

Can I bring my dog?

We'd love to meet your furry friend! Dogs are very welcome on our cosy, heated terrace. For everyone's comfort, petsstay outside the indoor areas. Thank you for understanding — we look forward to welcoming you both!

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes! Our gift vouchers are available directly on our website and make the perfect treat for someone special. Give thegift of a wonderful shared Indian dining experience at Miri Mary!

Reservations

Do I need to make a reservation?

We highly recommend reserving to secure your table. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, but reserved guestsalways get priority for a stress-free evening.

How do I make a reservation?

It's easy! Click 'Reserve a Table' on our website (mirimary.com) and follow the steps. You can book up to 16 guestsonline. For larger groups or special requests, email us at manager@mirimary.com.

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

Use the edit/cancel link in your confirmation email. Reservations can be made up to 3 months ahead. Need help? Justreach out — we'll happily find a time that works for you!
Please note: changing your reservation to a different date within 24 hours of your original booking is treated as acancellation and a new reservation. The original deposit is non-refundable in this case.

Do you accept group reservations, and is there a minimum size?

We love hosting groups of any size! For 6 or more guests, our Chef's Heritage Menu is mandatory - read on fordetails.

How do I book a group reservation (6+ guests)?

Up to 16 guests: book easily on mirimary.com. For 17 or more guests, or for special requests, emailmanager@mirimary.com with your date, time, group size, and dietary needs. We'll tailor everything for you!

What is the Chef's Heritage Menu, and what is required for groups of 6+?

Our Chef's Heritage Menu (CHM) is mandatory for groups of 6 or more. It's our signature 3-course sharing menu,

served family-style, showcasing India's regional culinary heritage — a truly special and complete dining journey.

Choose from:

• Fully vegetarian, with meat, a mix, or fully vegan

• Gluten-free and allergy adaptations available

• CHM with Cocktail Pairing — our spice-infused artisanal cocktails or mocktails perfectly complement each course

• CHM with Wine Pairing — thoughtfully selected wines by our Head Bartender to balance and elevate every flavour

Just let us know your preferences when booking — we'll take great care of you.

What happens if my group size increases after booking and reaches 6 or more?

The Chef's Heritage Menu becomes mandatory based on the final group size on arrival. This ensures smoothoperations and the best shared experience. We'll happily adapt for any dietary needs — no surprises! Thank you forunderstanding.

What kind of food does Miri Mary serve?

We serve modern Indian cuisine with a shared-dining twist! Our small plates celebrate India's regional heritage usingage-old recipes re-imagined with fresh, seasonal Dutch ingredients — keeping the same authentic flavour profiles.Come hungry and curious!

What is your brunch concept, and on which days is it available?

Our brunch offers a unique Indian twist on classic favourites — available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Theperfect leisurely weekend treat in Amsterdam's De Pijp!

Do you serve Halal food?

Yes — all our meat is fully Halal-certified. We're committed to quality and inclusivity for every guest. Just let us know ifyou have any questions!

How do you handle allergies and dietary restrictions?

Your safety and enjoyment come first! We offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan-adaptable, and gluten-free dishes. Allcommon allergens are clearly marked on the menu. Please tell your server about any needs — we'll happily adjust. Forcomplex requests, mention them when booking.

Can I bring my own cake to celebrate a special occasion?

Of course! You're welcome to bring your own cake for a small €25 fee (covers cutting and serving). Let us know inadvance so we can make your moment special. We also have our own Indian-inspired desserts that pair beautifullywith our cocktails!

Can you create a custom dish for a special occasion?

We love celebrating with you! While we can't create off-menu custom dishes — our menu is thoughtfully crafted aroundheritage recipes — we're delighted to help make your evening magical with our existing small plates and pairings. Forfull restaurant buy-outs, we can tailor everything. Email us to discuss!

Seating & Outdoor Areas

Do you have heaters on your terrace?

Yes! Our terraces are cosy year-round:

• Covered Patio — Smaller, sheltered with 4 heaters, blankets, and candles

• Bigger Terrace — Open with parasols, heaters, and blankets

Perfect for enjoying our shared Indian dishes whatever the Amsterdam weather!

Can I change my seating area after booking online?

You can select your preferred area (Restaurant, Bar, Covered Patio, or Shaded Terrace) when booking. Onceconfirmed, we can't guarantee changes, but we'll do our best if space allows on the day. For groups or special needs,email manager@mirimary.com.

Kitchen & Bar Closing Times

What are your kitchen and bar closing times, and when is the last order?

• Brunch (Fri–Sun): Kitchen closes 15:00; last food orders 14:45

• Dinner (daily): Kitchen closes 22:00; last food orders 21:45

• Bar: Open until midnight; last drinks 23:45

Plenty of time for after-dinner cocktails!

Deposits & Refunds

Do you require a deposit, and what is your refund policy?

A €15 per person deposit applies for groups of 6 or more, and for all Friday and Saturday dinners. It is deducted from

your final bill.

• Cancel more than 24 hours ahead: full refund

• Cancel within 24 hours or no-show: deposit is non-refundable

• Changing to a different date within 24 hours of your original booking is treated as a cancellation — the original

deposit is non-refundable

This helps us plan better and keep offering warm hospitality to everyone.

Reservation Time Limits & Extending Your Stay

How long can we stay, and can we extend beyond the booked time?

• Dinner: 2 hours from your start time

• Brunch: 1.5 hours from your start time

If the next slot is booked, we can't guarantee extensions — but if the restaurant isn't full, we'll happily let you linger! For

a more relaxed pace, book a later slot.

Do you offer catering services or restaurant buy-outs?

Yes! We'd love to bring our modern Indian sharing cuisine, artisanal spice-infused cocktails, and heartfelt hospitality toyour event — whether off-site catering or a full restaurant buy-out.
